O Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) released, this Friday, the weather forecast for the next week, between October 26th and November 1st, in mainland Portugal. According to the institute, the next days will have “above average temperatures” and “more typical conditions of a summer day”
In the weekly newsletter, IPMA reveals that “next week will be characterized by temperatures above average, with a few days to have associated conditions of relative low humidity, weak winds and low cloudy sky, more typical of a summer day”.
However, there will also be other “days when the approach and passage of front systems in dissipation should bring temporary drops in temperature and the possibility of weak precipitation in coastal areas, in a scenario more consistent with autumn”.
However, overall, “the week should be classified as dry”.
In relation to temperatures, the IPMA explains that “the maximum temperature should vary between 18°C and 27°C in the northern and central interior regions” and “in the southern region will vary between 22°C and 28°C”. Already “in coastal regions we should have maximum temperatures between 18°C and 26°C”.
For the minimum temperature in the continental territory, “this should be between 6°C and 13°C in the northern and central interior regions and between 9°C and 14°C in the south, and in the coastal areas the values should vary from 11°C to 17°C”.
