Teresa Guilherme accepted Flávio Furtado's invitation to be present in the program "The Milk Show", which the presenter and commentator conducts and is broadcast on digital platform.
During the interview, the veteran presenter was questioned about the greatest betrayal she would have ever suffered by a colleague in the television world.
Teresa Guilherme, currently 71, refused to say names and explained after losing millions of euros due to the BES case began to relativize all the betrayals she suffered throughout her life.
“ When something happens to you like it happened to me at BES, the disappointment of trusting... then it was already an institution, a bank, suddenly your life changes – everything becomes relative”, he began to mention.
“Did you change that much?” he asked Flávio Furtado. “Changed, changed”, the host assured.
“ These three million [euros] missed so much?” insisted the commentator of TVI reality shows.
“ Not at the time, not when it happened. It was much more disappointment. You get mad at yourself, no one forced you to put money in a bank”, answered the communicator, who says he just felt how much that money was missing a long time later.
“ From there you're always confronting yourself with: I can't buy this, because I don't have that money. If I had that money... What did I have to do? Reduce my expenses.”
Teresa Guilherme also mentioned what “did well” in the whole process, or that made her financial situation not worse, was that she did not have any loan.
“I’ve resized my life”, he also confessed, realizing that he began to ponder whether or not to make trips, where she stays and what expenses she may or may not make
It is recalled that the collapse of Banco Espírito Santo (BES) that affected Teresa Guilherme occurred in 2014. Caused by ruinous management, concealing massive debts and handling accounts, it is considered the biggest financial disaster in recent years in Portugal.
