A night of Friday was many smiles at D. Afonso Henriques Stadium in Guimarães. Just two months after the first and only victory in this edition of the Portuguese championship, Vitória SC again triumphed and won the Maritime, with five goals unanswered, in the duel that marked the start of the journey 9 of the I League.

Following the thin triumph in the visit to the ACDR Lamelas, for the third round of the Cup of Portugal, Tiago Margarido's class returned to the games in the championship and sought to put a final point in the series of five games in a row without winning in the I Liga, which lasted since August 23, when Vitória SC triumphed at home in the reception to the National, for a zero ball. And what better way to do it than not like a sip?

After a balanced start in Minho, the house class gave the first sign of danger over minute 33. After a corner that was beaten by Samu Silva, Toni Borevkovic turned his head and Tomás Tavares cut on top of the line two times. It was a foretaste of what would happen.

At the 38th minute, and following a very well-studied free kick, the Austrian spearhead Arnel Jakupović charged the lack of a high-end, with the ball passing half a height beside the barrier, beating Vieites. The Maritime responded at 40 minutes with a shot from outside the Igor Julião area that was defended with difficulties by Lucas Furtado.

Goled came to end the crisis

The second part tore off practically with Victoria's second goal in the match. Oumar Camara made the crossing for the area looking for Gustavo Silva and the left-side of Madeirans Paulo Henrique, trying to cut, put the ball in the goal itself, completely deceiving the goalkeeper.

The third of Tiago Margarido's class in this match appeared at the last minute of the game. After an early ball recovery, Arnel Jakupovic discovered Omar Camara. The Frenchman attempted a first shot that went against the legs of the Seamen's defenses and, in charging, went to the bomb law to make the third of the Victorians on top of the 60th minute.

The insular class tried to react and, at 65 minutes, Martin Téjon shot first with his left foot, with the ball hitting with bang at Lucas Furtado's goal bar. On the other side, Igor Julião got a cut in extremis for singing when Andersson appeared to divert to the bottom of the nets.

The result was not closed, since the Vimarans scored two more goals until Diogo Rosa's final whistle. At 76 minutes, Szalai lost the ball Samu Silva recovered it and placed the spherical in Jakupovic that did not falter in the face of Fran Vieites and bisou. Closing the match, at 90′, Alanzinho hit the corner and Mosquera appeared to head for the debut to be scored by Vitória SC and confirm the win at the Castle.

Accounts made, and after this second triumph in the I League this time, the Victoria SC moved away from the dangerous zone of the table, being now 11, with eight points, precisely the same points of the islanders, who fell to the 13th rank.
