Waze announced the arrival of a new way specially thought out for those riding motorcycles, which will include more prime streets on the suggested routes and also warnings for specific road hazards.

O Waze announced the arrival of a new update that, in addition to a series of artificial intelligence features “fed” by Google’s Gemini, also has a dedicated mode for motorcycles.
This mode will feature motorcycle-specific routes, allowing drivers of these vehicles to move on narrower roads or roads and even alert to road hazards such as holes.
“ Motorcycles need different routes of cars”, can be read in waze official statement. “ They can enter narrower streets and are more sensitive to road conditions. Our new model uses Artificial Intelligence to incorporate shortcuts and restrictions for two-wheeled vehicles, helping you find the better route and have a more accurate arrival forecast”.
This new mode will be present at Waze for mobile phones Android and iOS but unfortunately not all countries where the browsing app is present will receive this novelty.
At the moment, only Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Mexico and Peru will receive this functionality, with Waze promising to launch this mode in more countries in the coming days.
With regard to other features for Waze, users can rely on a way that will reduce voice indications. This will be especially useful for those who have the habit of driving to listen to music or podcasts, with Waze limiting sound alerts to road hazards or driving changes.
Finally, Waze integrated a beta version of Google Maps chat mode, which allows voice searches in a more organic and conversation-like manner.
This mode is still being tested, so it may not be present for all Waze users and may still present some problems and/or errors.
