Sand is aware of the news about WhatsApp and the development of new features, you will certainly know that the company is working on the option to schedule messages.

The feature was first seen in the beta version of WhatsApp for mobile phones Android, with only a few users having access to it. We are now entitled to new developments on the subject, with the wABetaInfo website to advance that this feature also reached the beta version of the message app for iOS.

Users of this version of WhatsApp who have the update 26.42.10.19 already have access to the possibility of scheduling messages and works just like on Android.

“Users can schedule a message from a conversation”, explained WABetaInfo when the feature started to be released. “ After writing a message in the text entry field, you need to press the upload button for a few moments. If functionality is available, this action shows an interface where users can decide when they want to send the message. The app does not send the message immediately, but schedules your submission until the moment you choose. Then WhatsApp automatically sends it at the time of choice, even with the app closed”.

The publication notes that, in addition to text, the functionality also allows scheduling the sending of photos, videos and links to websites. However, this possibility is accompanied by the limitation that only one file can be scheduled at a time.

WhatsApp Stickers will get sound: what you need to know

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow you to add sound to shared cockers in conversations. The novelty, revealed by WABetaInfo, can change the way users interact with the stickers.

If users want to manage the messages they have scheduled, a new area will be entered in the chat information where you can see the message, manage the upload and even delete it – with recipients never receiving any notification that a scheduled message has been deleted.

It is still unclear when WhatsApp will provide the ability to schedule messages in the final version of the app, but the fact that it is already available on both Android and iOS is a good sign that we will not have to wait much longer.
