Wall Street opened today on high, driven by the announcement of Anthropic's stock exchange entry, which encouraged the technological sector and on a day marked by the drop in oil prices.

At 2:40 p.m. in Lisbon, Dow Jones rose 0.59% to 52,524.81 points, while Nasdaq advanced 0.87% to 26,182,88 points.

At the same time, the S&P 500 grew 0.73% to 7,679.61 units.

The manufacturers of semiconductors and other companies linked to artificial intelligence (IA) led the rises after Claude's creator Anthropic presented the documentation for its Initial Public Offer (IPO) to the United States Securities Commission.

The company should be listed in Nasdaq under ANT, although it has not yet announced the date of its stock exchange debut.

The ad encouraged components manufacturers such as Nvidia (+2.1%), Micron (2.42%), Broadcom (1.47%) and AMD (1.2%).

Already Meta had a 1.41% drop after announcing an operation to raise $95,000 million to finance investments in AI infrastructure and intelligence.

Today's start comes after a volatile week in the American square, after doubts about the indebtedness of companies in the AI sector and the increase in the price of oil.

In energy, Texas oil dropped 2% to 101.01 dollars per barrel, after having subid 3.8% on Friday, after fear of further attacks by the United States of America against Iran after the midterms of November 3.

Investors keep an eye on companies that present results this week, such as Alphabet, Microsoft or Amazon, as well as Federal Reserve decisions, which will announce on Wednesday the direction of interest rates.

Gold rises 0.22% to 4,016 dollars per ounce, while silver drops 0.47% to 53.69 dollars per ounce.
