Seja to run, to do bodybuilding or aerobic exercises, for some people, the training playlist it's just as important as the training plan.
However, the doubt remains on social networks: Some personal trainers ensure that training with music can bring more stimuli than when training in silence. Others say otherwise. But after all, what will be the most correct theory? Can silence bring better results?
The Human Factors – Effects of Vocal and Instrumental Music on Running study points out that listening to music during training can be an added value. However, it distinguishes between two types of music.
What's the best kind of music to listen to during practice?
Everything depends on the results you want. Researchers found that songs such as jazz or all those with only instrumental, “can reduce the feeling of tiredness”, while “lettered songs can improve the mood of athletes”. However, note that it depends on the type of emotions inherent in each song.
In addition, they explain that hearing something during training, in general, helps divert the focus of the pain felt in the exercises and can therefore “reduce the perception of effort, especially in moderate-intensity races”.
On the other hand, these experts admit that this pattern is only given as a benefit when athletes verify this, that is, when those who practice physical exercise confirm that music effectively brings these advantages. Otherwise, it may be best to remain in a quiet environment, both to raise your body consciousness and to feel that you are performing your exercises well.
