Game score: “An important result in a very difficult field against a team that is fantastic in the league. It was very important to have a strong reaction after the Champions League game. Without suffering goals, a very competent display.”

Quality of the opponent: “Gil Vicente defends very well in duels, is very strong. Protect the area very well. We had situations where we arrived in good condition and it was very important to have marked by Borja, who gave us the result. Credit for the spirit they had and for the effort they put in the field.”

Difficulties in the last third: “They scored very well in the first 20 minutes. It was very difficult because they were covering it up very well. It was a game of great defensive application. In the second half of the first part we raise the construction quality in the second phase. It gave us some interesting actions that we didn't convert by a few inches into the last pass. In the second part it was a different game, with more moments in the other half of the field.”

Gabri Veiga output at range: “He had a few moments when he had strong contacts. We have a team with alternatives, Inbeom came in with a good rhythm and this is football. Players must enter and change the dynamics of the game. Today they saw that Oskar had a little problem, Borja came in and was the man of the game.”

Situation of Pietuszewski: “We need to see. It's on the other leg. It looks like a spasm but it’s too early to give complete information.”

Samu frustrated in thanking the fans: “Frustrated because he wanted to score? I think so. He's an advance and he wants to score. You said at the press conference that the union of the club, of the fans, has always been key. It has to be like this. This team is a group of guys who always do their best in the field. We are not perfect, we have many areas to improve, but tonight they fought with everything they had. They sweated the sweater on every ball. It’s never easy to get here, play and win.”

Record start in FC Porto: “It doesn’t say anything. What really counts are the 27 points, which are an important step. But it's the middle of October, the season is too long and we still have a lot to do. We are only 25% away from a long marathon.”
