Defensive cohesion: “From the defensive point of view. From an offensive point of view, we could have been more capable. There was room for us to be better and more effective. If we had calmed down, we could have scored goals and we could have had another result. We were a team that always went after the game, even with the expulsion. We never hid... But we didn’t get any points.”
Offensive detail: “We often reached the defensive midfield of FC Porto. I think we could have been more capable, honestly. We were able to get out many times within the structure of FC Porto. But it is a very difficult game to play, FC Porto makes many faults constantly and does them well to stop attacks.”
Did you cancel FC Porto?: “There were times when we were able to cancel FC Porto and the goal probably appeared in one of the few moments that we were wrong. But the team did well, in front of a team of this size and considering that we had a expulsion.”
About the expulsion..: “No comment.”
Season tour: “We have to make an assessment of our championship and the three teams that compete in the championship and the others. This result does not shake confidence at all, of course we wanted to win and we were sad because we wanted to get points out of here, but we must be aware of our analysis when we play against teams of this level. We tried to win, we might one day succeed, today was not the day.”
