Mislanders of people whistled today when they saw drones flying over Praça D. João I in Porto, then began to tinkle the keys and shout “fascism never again, April 25 always”.

The resistance phrases were sung out loud by the thousands of protesters who, at the same time, tinkled the keys with their hands in the air when they saw at least four drones flying over the sky above D. João I Square.

“It’s not about right or left, it’s about right to housing,” one of the posters that a child, to the father’s cavalitas, showed.

In the demonstration, always accompanied by the sound of batucadas, bombos, posters with phrases of resistance and some flags of Portugal, there are soap balls in the air thrown by families with their children taking ‘selfies’.

Some children ate slices of bread and butter sitting on the stairs in front of the Porto Municipal Theatre next to their parents.

Praça D. João I was filled with people of all ages shouting the same phrases: “Fascism never again. April 25 always”, with a fist clenched in the air.

During the demonstration leaflets were distributed with information on how a citizen should act if arrested or identified.

“ We continue the same and live like our grandparents”, “In each corner a neighbor”, “I want to be able to have a house to grow”, “Organized population, conquered housing”, “Teto, floor, right to housing” were some of the phrases read on protesters’ posters.
