José Mourinho granted this Saturday his preview to El Clásico before Barcelona, counting for the tenth day of La Liga, in Spain, with the game taking place at Camp Nou. The Portuguese coach spoke about the moment of both teams and also addressed the subject of arbitration in the Spanish championship this season.
“ We arrived well, with a good dynamic and scoring goals, but by my experience in classics and derbys what happened before does not have much meaning. The world to see this game”, started by affirming in the press conference.
Now, the impetus for this meeting is not the decisive factor, with Mourinho to ensure that if the match against RB Leipzig had the opposite result, the motivation would be the same for this game.
“If instead of winning 4-1 we had lost 1-4, my state of mind would be exactly the same for this game,” he continued.
“They look at us as a finished product and this is difficult in football. We've been working for three months, but we've only got a month and a half to work. It's an initial product, at a stage where the coach is still analyzing paths and players getting to know me. Comparing such a team with another one that has more years of work does not seem fair to me ", analyzed.
José Mourinho is not a newcomer in the bench of Real Madrid alternates, so he knows the pressure inherent in the position. The Portuguese technician does not disarm and only wants to win, either by ‘guilty’ of the players or the coach.
“ I look for nothing but credit for the players when they win and criticism of the coach when things go less well. Some games are won by players, others lost by coaches, it is our life ", confessed.
At the time of addressing the opponent, the truth is that José Mourinho turned his attention to Lamine Yamal, although he is not the only player in Barcelona who has quality.
“Lamine Yamal is a great player, but it is one thing to respect and another to change my plans because of him or forget the essence itself. We will not do that to him or to another high-quality adversary. Not because they ask so many questions about opponents, but as for Flick, he is a great coach and is doing an excellent job”, he said.
On arbitration, which has been one of the biggest issues of Spanish football in recent days, José Mourinho again attacked and criticized Fermín López's statements at the doors of El Clásico.
“Fermín López said that he is tired of always talking about referees? We get tired of other things that continue to happen ... ", shot the Portuguese technician.
“ Never bothers me about the referee's name. I always assume the referee is good. What bothers me is when the rules are broken, and for the moment, according to internal information, this did not happen ", completed.
