O American President Donald Trump accused the conservative Fox News chain of devoting more time to the Democrats than to the Republicans today, despite being interviewed by the station on the same day.
“Fox News spends a lot of time giving space to the opponents of Republican Party candidates, people who love our country and who have excellent proposals and ideas,” wrote the President on his social network, Truth Social, when it is just over a week away from mid-term elections in the United States.
According to Trump, the media are making those “American Americans” invisible and “Fox is doing very little to help”.
“ This is the only reason why this dispute is close, if it really is”, he added.
The publication was released hours after the President's half-hour interview on Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures program.
According to the Spanish news agency EFE, in recent weeks Trump has already twice criticized the news coverage of the station, considering that there is a favorable bias to Democrats.
Trump's relationship with Fox News has always been very close and his defense ministers, Pete Hegseth, and Transport, Sean Duffy, have passed through the station.
However, on September 21, Fox News joined the boycott of the main television chains to Trump's coverage, after the latter banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico from entering the White House.
On November 3, the Americans will elect new members of the House of Representatives and a third of the Senate seats, as well as several local and state officials, and polls show Democrats with an advantage of up to ten percentage points.
